your benefits are:

Free use of the Charlotte Darrah Walter Genealogical Library Semi-annual issues of the newsletter “N.C.H.S. News”  A 10% discount on the purchase of N.C.H.S. publications

Annual dues are due in January for the calendar year.  

Memberships are deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The operations and activities of the Northumberland County Historical Society are funded in part by membership dues.
  
In 1997, the Society established an Endowment Fund with the 
purpose of generating income for the Society on a continuing basis. 
All Life Memberships and memorial donations are designated for the Endowment Fund.  You, too, can support the Historical Society 
through estate planning, which includes gifts of specific amounts, 
real or personal property, a percentage of an estate, or the 
establishment of a charitable remainder trust.
